CB NCLEX’s six-week comprehensive program starts with a ten-day Fast Track that covers the core knowledge most commonly tested on the NCLEX. From there, we build deeper into high-priority topics while strengthening your ability to think critically and prioritize patient care. CB NCLEX began with Cathy’s passion for helping others succeed.
In 2007, she began supporting her coworkers on their journey to becoming registered nurses—one study session at a time. As word spread and results followed, those small study groups grew into a classroom dedicated to students who needed more than a traditional approach, especially those who had failed the NCLEX multiple times.
What sets us apart isn’t just our method, but the heart behind it: understanding each student’s journey and creating a path forward with purpose and care.

Our Fast Track is a focused, 10-day blast into the core fundamentals most commonly tested on the NCLEX. Designed for students who need a strong reset or refresher, this intensive program breaks nursing concepts down to the basics—without the overwhelm. For $500, you’ll build confidence, strengthen critical thinking, and establish the foundation needed to succeed before moving into deeper NCLEX content.
At CB NCLEX, Back to Basics means mastering the fundamentals before diving deeper. We focus on core nursing concepts, high-yield topics, and clinical reasoning to ensure students build a strong, lasting foundation. This intentional approach transforms how students think—preparing them not just to pass the NCLEX, but to practice as safe, confident nurses.
Get the best of both worlds—speed and understanding. This combo combines our 10-day Fast Track fundamentals intensive with our Back to Basics method to ensure students not only review what’s tested, but truly understand it. Meet Cathy
Catherine Bugayong (aka Cathy) is a pediatrician-turned-registered nurse from Pangasinan, Philippines. During her lifelong endeavor of learning, Cathy found her passion for helping others through teaching.
She recognized just how life-changing and significant it was for her students to pass the NCLEX.
It not only opened doors for bigger opportunities but passing the NCLEX also empowered her students and gave them the self-confidence to aspire for a better life.
Paolo Bugayong is a physician-turned-registered nurse from Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines, with a diverse and extensive background in healthcare. With experience spanning home health, dialysis, orthopedic care, and case management, Paolo brings a well-rounded clinical perspective to his teaching.
Throughout his career, he has served not only as a nurse, but also as a mentor, preceptor, and healthcare leader—guiding others in developing both their clinical skills and confidence. His unique journey from medicine to nursing allows him to break down complex concepts and help students truly understand the “why” behind NCLEX questions.
Paolo is deeply committed to helping aspiring nurses succeed. Through his guidance, students gain not only the knowledge they need to pass, but also the confidence to thrive in their nursing careers.

Hi all, I am sharing this message as a review for my cousin and in support of Paolo-Catherine Bugayong and her business tutoring aspiring nurses to help pass the NCLEX.
My cousin joined Mrs. Cathy’s program after having failed the NCLEX three times (due to different reasons but primarily because of language barrier and from being away from nursing school for a while). She committed to a only a few months in the program but was able to get a holistic but in depth review of everything she needed to know about complex nursing content that is US based. Not only was Mrs. Cathy a wonderful teacher but my cousin appreciated her breadth of experience in not just nursing as a subject but also as a career for more than a decade.
