CB NCLEX began with Cathy’s passion for helping others succeed.
In 2007, she began supporting her coworkers on their journey to becoming registered nurses—one study session at a time. As word spread and results followed, those small study groups grew into a classroom dedicated to students who needed more than a traditional approach, especially those who had failed the NCLEX multiple times.
What sets us apart isn’t just our method, but the heart behind it: understanding each student’s journey and creating a path forward with purpose and care.

For $500, you’ll build confidence, strengthen critical thinking, and establish the foundation needed to succeed before moving into deeper NCLEX content.
At CB NCLEX, Back to Basics means mastering the fundamentals before diving deeper. We focus on core nursing concepts, high-yield topics, and clinical reasoning to ensure students build a strong, lasting foundation. This intentional approach transforms how students think—preparing them not just to pass the NCLEX, but to practice as safe, confident nurses.

Meet the Founder
Catherine Bugayong (aka Cathy) is a pediatrician-turned-registered nurse from Pangasinan, Philippines. During her lifelong endeavor of learning, Cathy found her passion for helping others through teaching.
She recognized just how life-changing and significant it was for her students to pass the NCLEX.
It not only opened doors for bigger opportunities but passing the NCLEX also empowered her students and gave them the self-confidence to aspire for a better life.
